Warner Bros. has announced the sale of 10 “fully functional but not street legal” Batmobiles from Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Trilogy. Each of these iconic vehicles, also known as the Tumbler, is being offered at a hefty price tag of $3 million.The Tumbler Batmobiles were famously featured in the trilogy, which includes Batman Begins (2005), The Dark Knight (2008), and The Dark Knight Rises (2012).
Christian Bale starred as the Dark Knight, with a talented supporting cast that included Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, and Cillian Murphy. The films became major box-office successes, with The Dark Knight grossing over $1 billion worldwide and securing its place as one of the highest-grossing films of 2008.
