Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has revealed uncertainty surrounding his future at the club as his current contract nears its expiration without renewal.
Speaking candidly, the Egyptian star expressed disappointment at the club's lack of communication regarding an extension but maintained his focus on delivering positive results on the pitch.
“We are almost in December, and I haven’t received any offers yet to stay at the club,” Salah said. “I’m probably more out than in. You know I have been at this club for many years. There is no club like this. But in the end, it is not in my hands.”
Despite the uncertainty, Salah remains hopeful that a resolution can be reached in the coming months. However, the silence from Liverpool's management has fueled speculation about his potential departure.
Fans have voiced their desire for the African legend to extend his stay, emphasizing his significant contributions to the club's success over the years. Still, it remains unclear whether the club’s management will respond to this mounting pressure.
Salah is one of three key Liverpool players whose contracts are set to expire at the end of the season, with Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold also entering the final six months of their deals. If extensions are not agreed upon by January, all three will be free to negotiate with overseas clubs.
The months ahead could prove pivotal for Salah and Liverpool as fans anxiously await updates on the futures of their key players.
