NPP grabs 7 out of 9 disputed Constituencies after re-collated results

The Electoral Commission (EC) has declared the New Patriotic Party (NPP) winners in seven out of nine disputed constituencies following a re-collation of parliamentary election results. The exercise, conducted under the directive of the Accra High Court, was held at the EC’s Greater Accra Regional Office amid tight security.
The NPP retained or claimed victories in the following constituencies:
Obuasi East (Ashanti Region): Patrick Boakye-Yiadom (NPP) secured 18,558 votes, narrowly defeating Samuel Aboagye (NDC) with 18,539 votes.
Nsawam-Adoagyiri (Eastern Region): Frank Annoh-Dompreh (NPP) emerged victorious with 29,640 votes against Philibert Fummey (NDC), who polled 29,433 votes.
Tema Central (Greater Accra Region): Charles Forson (NPP) won with 18,870 votes, edging Ebi Bright (NDC) who polled 18,815 votes.
Ahafo Ano North (Ashanti Region): Eric Nana Agyemang-Prempeh (NPP) retained his seat with 20,353 votes, defeating Kwasi Adusei (NDC), who garnered 20,232 votes.
Okaikwei Central (Greater Accra Region): Patrick Yaw Boamah (NPP) won with 21,099 votes, beating Abdulai Abu Baba Abubakar Sadiq (NDC), who polled 19,368 votes.
Ahafo Ano South West (Ashanti Region): Elvis Osei Dapaah (NPP) emerged with 16,058 votes against Abubakar Sadiq (NDC), who secured 15,372 votes.
Techiman South (Bono East Region): Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah (NPP) retained his seat with 46,663 votes, defeating Christopher Beyere (NDC), who polled 43,429 votes.
The re-collation process forms part of efforts to resolve electoral disputes in the affected constituencies. Heavy security was deployed during the exercise to ensure order and transparency.
The EC has yet to provide further details on the remaining two constituencies, but the NPP’s dominance in the re-collated results has been noted as a significant boost for the party.
