Black Stars forward Mohammed Kudus is in contention to win the Puskás Award at the 2024 FIFA Awards.
The 24-year-old earned his nomination with a stunning solo goal against Freiburg during West Ham’s 5-0 triumph in last season’s Europa League Round of 16.
Kudus’ goal competes with Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho, whose sensational bicycle kick against Everton was named the Premier League Goal of the Season, alongside nine other nominees.

However, Lookman and his Nigerian teammate William Troost-Ekong have been nominated for the Best FIFA Men’s 11.
